           Tamil cinema is drenching in the showering rain of good movies in recent days.  Movies such as Merku  Thodarchi Malai, Kadaikutty singam, Chekka Chivantha Vanam, Imaika nodikal,  Pariyerum Perumal, 96, Kana, Ratsasan and  VadaChennai capture the audience hearts by the interesting screenplay and different plot of the story. The maturity of Tamil cinema lovers has risen and they adapt to watch any kind of movies with a good story.  
             The new age of directors ready to take the risk for the very first movie.  Their belief on an audience made them try new ideas and trying hard to change their form of story into cinema. Lenin Bharathi's MTM must be a lauded cinema for decades to portray the lives of people living in western ghats.  Kollywood lovers celebrated the movie.
           Vijay Sethupathi is the biggest asset for kollywood who believes in the story rather than building the image in Tamil cinema.  He justifies every role he is playing i.e Rasool from CCV, Raam from 96, Ayya from Seethakathi this year.  An ace filmmaker Maniratnam even after 25 years completed the schedule within 50 days with top heroes like STR, Vijay Sethupathi, Aravind Swamy, Arun Vijay, Jotika and entertained the audience with high notch performances of the artist.  After watching  Ratsasan,  Vishnu has the potential to choosing right scripts and justifies the role he is doing. Vice President of India Venkaiah Naidu praised Kadaikutty singam after watching in Telugu version Chinna Babu, he praised the movie for portraying the farmers in the right sense. Vada Chennai is the raw intense film about North Chennai appreciated by the audience. Adangamaru with the engaging screenplay filled the entertaining dose into the audiences.

Before 10 years, actors and directors believe in masala cinemas and tried masala cinema in the same pattern with different cast and crew.  In the present, the new age generation of actors and directors strongly having a faith "STORY IS THE HERO" & "AUDIENCES ARE BRILLIANT AND ENCOURAGE GOOD MOVIES".
